Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Analytics to lead the organization's analytics function and drive data-informed decision making across gaming, hospitality, food & beverage, and resort operations. This leader will transform complex data into actionable business insights that improve profitability, operational efficiency, and guest experience.
The ideal candidate is a strong people leader, business strategist, and storyteller who can influence executives and operational leaders alike through data-driven recommendations and measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive and operational leadership teams, ensuring analytics drive business decisions
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analytics professionals while influencing cross-functional analytical resources
- Identify revenue growth opportunities, operational efficiencies, and cost-saving initiatives across the business
- Develop forecasting models, predictive analytics, and scenario planning to support strategic decision making
- Monitor performance across gaming, hospitality, food & beverage, labor, and other operational areas to identify trends and opportunities
- Deliver executive dashboards and KPI reporting that provide timely, actionable insights
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling business recommendations
- Quantify the impact of strategic initiatives and help prioritize investments and resources
- Partner with Finance, IT, Marketing, and Operations to expand data capabilities and improve access to information
- Establish consistency in reporting, metrics, and data definitions across the organization
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision making and analytical thinking throughout the enterprise
- Balance strategic leadership with a hands-on approach when business needs require direct involvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, or a related field required
- Master's degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Strategy, or related disciplines
- 3+ years of leadership experience with direct reports
- Proven success delivering measurable revenue growth, profitability improvements, or cost savings through the strategic use of data
- Experience within gaming, hospitality, resort operations, or other customer-focused industries strongly preferred
- Strong business acumen with the ability to influence leaders at all levels of the organization
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and data storytelling skills
Technical Skills
- Advanced experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms
- Strong SQL expertise
- Experience with Python and/or R
- Familiarity with data warehousing and cloud-based data platforms
- Experience integrating new data sources and improving data accessibility
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Additional Details
Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000 per year
This position is a supervisory role.
